HP TouchPad will be there in the UK stores this April

Although originally pegged with a “September 2011″ release, the latest reports claim that the HP TouchPad will be striking the UK by April.

HP will deliver its webOS 3.0 tablet in April. As per sources HP’s contender partners has shown that the company is aspiring to deliver 45-48 million notebooks and tablet PCs combined in 2011.

The release date of Apple iPad 2 has delayed till June, close to the TouchPad’s launch date ahead could be a good step for HP. This tablet could have webOS to finally take away, after all the struggle to compete against the likes of Android and iOS. The forthcoming tablet with a 9.7 inch display, a 1.2GHz processor, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing webcam, stereo speakers, SMS and IM support, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, Adobe Flash support, a 6300mAh battery and Touchstone compatibility.
